Continuing the Fight Against Settler Terror

08/05/26

Last Friday, the army stopped around 100 Zazim activists on our way to meet Palestinian farmers in villages near Bethlehem. Together with members of Rabbis for Human Rights and A Land for All, we set out to help farmers install a fence to protect their plots from settler attacks, and to stand with them in the face of the wave of Jewish terror.

At the same time, hundreds of activists from other organizations were stopped throughout the West Bank under a movement restriction order that was enforced only against us, and not against the settlers.

Rather than turning back, we held a protest against Jewish terror at the checkpoint. Meanwhile some of our partners from Rabbis for Human Rights managed to reach the village of Jannatah with the equipment purchased by members of our community — 200 meters of fencing and security cameras — and delivered it to the local community.

We will not stop and we will not surrender. We will continue going out to the West Bank, helping Palestinian communities and demanding that the state enforce the law against violent setters  and protect innocent farmers.
