How We Raised Our Voice Against War Crimes on the Ayalon Highway
24/09/25
Starvation, expulsion, and the killing of civilians waiting for food are war crimes. Soldiers have a legal and moral duty to refuse any blatantly illegal order — and we, as citizens, have the duty to raise the black flag and remind soldiers of their obligation.
That’s why we have already distributed more than half a million leaflets to mailboxes across the country, explaining the duty to refuse blatantly illegal orders — many thousands of them delivered personally by volunteer activists in their own neighborhoods and buildings. We’ve also put up posters nationwide, and this week — as the military operation to occupy Gaza began — we placed this giant billboard on the Ayalon, seen by nearly one million people every day.
Like all of our actions, this billboard was funded by small donations from Israeli citizens. These contributions not only make our publications possible, they are also a clear mandate from the community to continue acting, raising our voices against war crimes, and working to stop the war of destruction.
