Muezzin Law: Only Noise

What's left of the Muezzin Law? Turns out it's only noise. 

Even though the entire Netanyahu family pushed for this law, the only thing that remained of the Muezzin bill is an affirmation of existing noise regulations.

In the face of the racist attempt to silence Arab presence in the public sphere, Zazim members loudly stood up: We sent more than 23,000 letters to Members of Knesset - telling them to silence racism, not the Muezzin! Our pressure made it clear to the ruling coalition that the original anti-Muslim law could not pass. Instead, Netanyahu and the MKs were forced to walk back their proposal, and pass an empty bill.

Unfortunately, the anti-Arab and anti-Muslim rhetoric stirred by this law can't be walked back. Every time Netanyahu is attacked by right wing parties, investigated for corruption, or just wakes up in a bad mood - it is the Palestinian citizens of Israel who pay the price. We cannot allow that to continue - and we will keep fighting and making noise until the racism is silenced!
